Madeira Mandolin Orchestra, Congresso Hall, Funchal

Directed by Maestro André Martins, the orchestra is composed by 27 performers between the ages of 12 and 40, and its repertoire consists of classic music by composers such as Kètèlbey, Vivaldi, Ponchieli, Strauss, among others.
The concert will take place at the Madeira Congress Centre (Funchal) from 9 pm, with the duration of approximately 60 minutes. The opening of the doors takes place from 20:00, and the ticket has a costs 20 euros. Also OBM has two types of VIP seats in the audience with unit prices of 40 euros (package with concert ticket and a CD) and 65 euros (package with concert ticket, a CD and transport to and from the concert venue), and the tickets are available at the congress center.

Spring Concert, Madeira Mandolin Orchestra, Congresso Hall, Funchal

Celebrating the Flower Festival 2019 in Madeira, the Madeira Mandolin Orchestra, Europe’s oldest and youngest mandolin orchestra, holds a Special Spring Concert at the Madeira Congress Centre (Casino).
With the direction of Maestro João André Martins, the orchestra will play the most classic pieces of music to the sound of the mandolins and will be accompanied by great voices of soloists.
The concert will take place from 9 p.m., with the doors opening at 8:15 p.m., and will last approximately 120 minutes, with a 15-minute interval.
The ticket has a unit cost of 20 euros. Also OBM has two types of VIP seats in the audience with unit prices of 40 euros (package with concert ticket and a CD) and 65 euros (package with concert ticket, a CD and transport to and from the concert venue) , being available in the usual places and online.

International Museum Day – most museums on the island

On this day most museums are free of charge to enter, and it is possible to visit their exhibits and participate in initiatives prepared exclusively for this commemorative day.
